3025 production at 5 major sites

[Jan 10: edited formatting, clarity, and added the most essential backlinks]

Tikonov should produce about 6800 tons of 'Mechs/yr.

HL:CC pXX gives Tikonov's 'Mech production as 90/yr (doesn't specify which types). Hesperus' should also have been 90/yr (see below). Luthien's comes to 88/yr, as did New Avalon. Curious [that they're all so close], yes? Keystone also looks good for 88/yr!

And when I plot their production mass, they line up!

Looks like a base of 1800 tons (the equivalent mass of 90 bug 'Mechs) plus 1250 tons per step in production.

Hesperus is 5 tons high, Keystone is 5 tons high, and Luthien is 10 tons low. Together they balance out perfectly.

8055 + 4305 + 5540 == 1800*3 + 10*1250

Hesperus, 90 'Mechs/yr: 1800 tons + 5*1250 tons.

Per MW1e pXX, only Hesperus built Zeuses, and it's the only site known to be associated with BansheesHS:LC pXX says three Lyran production lines changed in the late 2900s, [plausible disappearance of Banshee production], [and the Banshee-derived] total of 8055 tons/yr is a good fit for pXX's 3025 listings.

33 Zeuses + 57 Banshees [1667 Banshees exist, multiplied by my "slow" rate of 430/12500] is 8055 tons.

Keystone, 88 'Mechs/yr: 1800 tons + 2*1250 tons.

Remember how HM:FWL pXX's ordered list ranks the Hermes II 4 'Mechs too high, the pXX chart is 14 'Mechs shy of its 500 total and it's also missing the Keystone Thunderbolts from pXX? Well then! Cut 4 Hermes IIs from somewhere and add 18 Thunderbolts!

18 Griffins, 12 BattleMasters, 13 Phoenix Hawks, 27 Stingers, and 18 Thunderbolts comes to 4305 tons (which, coincidentally, is close to the Sphere-wide average of 49 tons/'Mech).

Luthien, 88 'Mechs/yr: 1800 tons + 3*1250 tons.

64 Dragons, 11 Quickdraws and 13 Chargers is 5540 tons/yr.

New Avalon, 88 'Mechs/yr: 1800 tons + 1*1250 tons.

Wasps, Phoenix Hawks and Locusts, in that order. This is a lot of extra tonnage for Phoenix Hawks being listed second - [it would mean 52 Phoenix Hawks; for comparison, to balance with Luthien would mean 53, and using the Valkyrie test ratios would mean 51. So it is on target.] - maybe the new Waimalu site was one of the unlisted Enforcer sites  [has the extra Phoenix Hawks?]

Whatever New Avalon's final tonnage, I'm sure it will be in balance with Tikonov's. [Hah, wait, at 6800 tons Tikonov already averages almost 76 tons/'Mech. Whatever second-draft decision pushed New Avalon's Wasps ahead of their Phoenix Hawks probably won't be weight-matched by Tikonov.]

  1. I would have thought (far) more Zeuses and fewer Banshees.

  2. New Avalon Phawks = 88/3, & Tikonov as 90*(20+55)/2, puts New Avolon at x=.5 & Tikonov x=1.25, halfway to Keystone

  3. I know my mistake with New Avalon and Tikonov. Will correct when I can post properly again. -skiltao
